I have been in my local tesco extra today in great yarmouth and im very disapointed in an offer you had. The offer was your own jersey royal potatoes which had a sticker on saying 500grms free, there was none available or any notice stating otherwise. It was only when i went to customer service where a member of staff went to find some that another staff member gave her a label stating this offer is not available. That was not on the goods or anywhere to be seen when my husband and i looked. The stickers on the packet should have been removed or the note should have been there to start with not magicly appeared after complaining.Icould have easily have gone to another store nearby if i knew i was beng decieved and purchased cheaper but i had already paid for my shopping.
I have been saving my cluibcard vouchers to spend on a car hire, Such a shame this is not available
thank you for super deals on clubcard
good service excellent offers well done.
Firstly, the £10=£20 voucher deal is remarkably good. I converted £120 into £240 in the form of 6×£20 exchange vouchers when puchasing 2 Tom Tom Start 2 sat nav units. Sadly, the final £20 voucher, although scanned correctly, did not enter into the till total. It took 2 hours of endeavour by a very determined and apolgetic staff to get the transaction accepted. Secondly, after testing one of the units and finding it not doing as it should, and endeavouring to seek advice about returning the units to obtain credit towards buying two more expensive sat navs, the support@tesco.com team failed to respond within the 48 hours they claim that they will do so. It was a week before I received an email advising me to contact thie support number. On getting through on the number provided, the representative started to inform me that he did not have any of the details and so wanted to transfer me to another number. Having spent so much time trying to resolve the situation, I was unwilling to do this and by explaining that all I wanted (as set out in my original email) was to find out if I could return the units and put the credit towards buying two more expensive units. He was very good and assured me that I could, but I must get the credit part done before instituting the new sale. I thanked him, but why could support@tesco.com not have simply sent me an email repoly to this effect?
Finally, in my opinion, the system at the Quick till desk needs to be improved, either by adjusting the till software to accept vouchers which are a little more than the cost of the goods being bought (in my case 6p!), or to make sure that the staff are properly trained in every aspect of their particular job. The till staff, and the manager involved in my case were both very helpful and considerate, but had to seek help when the till refused to accept the final £20 voucher exchange (3 times!) and eventually wiped itself clean, so that the till assistant could not log in and had to call for help. This contributed to the 2 hour wait I and my partner had to endure at the counter. So, whilst I am very impressed with the Tesco double-deal offer, I am less than impressed with the level of support when one needs help.
Thank you for the Tesco vouchers so far recieved.
I’m single and just cater for myself. I wonder if it would be possible to “roll over” my clubcard points until I can get something worthwhile. I’m fed up with offers like 25p off a can of Heinz beans, for example. There must be plenty of other customers in a similar position. I think this would be a good idea remembering that the competition is getting ever stronger and as the proud owner of about 42,000 shares in Tesco it is my interest to see that Tescos does well and provides as good a service as possible. Also the vast amounts of unnecessary paperwork that could be saved must be a consideration.
i like shopping at Tesco
