   I found it abit confusing about the ‘registering’ – there was a log out but I couldn’t see a log in.
   The jobs offered to choose from did not include a small job option such as the one I needed done. Why do you not offer OTHER as an option.

   Also, a rough price guide might be helpful. I had no idea what a bathroom installation might cost and something which says “expect to pay around £xxx” would be helpful – I appreciate you can’t give an exact quote but the drop down budget bands are quite wide.

   I found the site by accident as we were looking for a few different trades for a property we had bought and needed renovating ie roofers, electricians etc. It was so easy to post jobs and within a few hours had loads of phone calls to offer quotes which we gladly accepted. I think this is a brilliant way of finding quotes it sure beats going through the phone book and calling loads of different company’s. I can’t say about standards of work yet as we are just arranging dates for all the quotes to be done but so far I’m impressed at how convenient and easy it is to use. Hope the work is as good a standard as the website!

   I used this sight for a plumber to install a dish washer. He responded quickly to my request and the work was done the next day.

   First time used this and was well impressed .Vince Watson was prompt , very efficient , told me exactly where to go and what to do .Then came back and fitted me a new shower,no fuss no mess job done,Would definately recommend and use again.Many thanks , a very happy customer .

   Martin Fox has justed mended our toilet. It is 30 years old and we thought we would have to get a complete new suite. He is quick, efficient and tidy. He also has resonable rates. He did not have the new part required but went to get it and was back in less than 30 mins. We called him last night and he arrived first thing this morning. Would highly recommend him for any job. In fact we are going to ask him back to see if he can mend our dripping shower. We forgot to mention this when he was working here.

   I have just had my garage converted into a dining room by Barton Grange Builders,it has taken them just over two weeks from start to finish.I would like to share my experience of them with you, they were clean tidy and nothing you asked of them was to much trouble and most of all they have done the most fantastic job. I would recommend them to everyone. What ever else I wanted doing BARTON GRANGE BUILDERS would be the ones I would ask to do it.

   I was directed to a Wigan firm J.D.Roofing by Rated People, John Davis took the money and ran leaving the job uncompleted, what was done was sub standard.

   Davis gave me a story that encouraged me to arrange to pay the supplier of materials by credit card, Davis misused this facility. Since that time I have been forced to seek a remedy in the Wigan County Court, I am now waiting for the court officers to collect money I have claimed in order to have the work completed.

   At no time has the staff at rated people taken any action that would encourage me to believe that they as a company are interested in the clients they expose to the cowboys in the trades.

   My advice. Do not use Rated People unless you want an expensive, poor quality job, Any good service provider in the industry would not have to use this kind of website to find clients. Clearly, Rated people do not vet the trades people they recommend.
