   The reasons why one should fly BA is that they do not treat you like cattle and are more flexible than the budget airlines. They waited for late arrivals when a horse held up traffic on the M25. In addition they have back up planes in the event they take yours out of service thus minimising delays. For example with the leading Irish airline we were kept in the airport for several hours and only got back to England because a pilot coming back from Europe to Ireland agreed to an extra return flight to the UK albeit too late to land at Luton. We saw the negotiations by the ground staff with the pilot. On the other hand the pilot of a BA plane decided it was unsafe to fly his plane so BA sent out a replacement plane from the UK. We have seen Orange planes turn up after we have been asked to join a baording queue and rush to clean it up. We were delayed on another flight because the jet was going from one airport to another and yet another and the delays for each flight before it got to us meant untoward delays when it was our turn. By the time all the “extras” are added to a budget flight is it all that cheap??

   It’s a great sale, but why do you have to stay in London to get all the benefits ?
   You used to supply Free internal flights, for long haul flights, so why has this stopped ?

   BA what a company to fly with.

   I first went to America with BA was many years ago and have been back several times since, the price of the flights is very little more than it was the very first time I flew. I have never had a bad flight, the staff are always courteous. (The only down side is that I don’t appreciate being bused round to the plane from Terminal 5).

   Thank you BA for holding the price down. I very much appreciate it so I can afford to go and visit my sister.

   Taking my husband with me this year!

   DEar Sir/Mr.Walsh,

   As you have invited experiences, and opinions, I will say as follows:-

   1}My experience travelling with BA to Portugal, Ghana, and Geneva in the past have been excellent.

   2}My opinion on your Sales offers,and special offers have disappointed me. I am of Ghanaian African family. Now a retired Accountant and Management Consultant.

   Very often I have had opinions from Ghanaians who wish to go to Ghana, either on holidays or to help with projects. It appears that BA have not ever appreciated the volume of Ghanaians who would like to travel with them, if only they once in a while offer some of the special fares to Ghana; as you do for Nigeria, Cairo, & South Africa.They know there is Ghana International Airlines, and in the past Ghana Airways, but some of those who wish to travel are born and lived in UK. and you can understand their wish to go BA if they ave the chance

   I take frequent trips to Ghana with KLM on business, and at one of my meetings to help with tourism I meet Ministers and I have to put this question to them aswell.

   In a polite way I now plead with you to sometimes consider MAKING AVAILABE FEW SEATs ON OFFER in your promotions
